Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide care to patients requiring respiratory support, working collaboratively within the healthcare team to deliver high-quality treatment in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include evaluating patient needs, administering treatments, and monitoring patient responses to therapies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients' respiratory conditions.
• Administer and monitor therapeutic treatments such as oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol medication.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques.
• Maintain detailed records of patient care activities and progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience

Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Idaho. Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Respiratory Therapist License in Idaho
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
