Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide care for patients with respiratory issues. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and administering therapies. The therapist will work closely with the medical team to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Familiarity with appropriate documentation systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and determine respiratory therapy needs.
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient responses and document accordingly.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and care.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
