Shift hours are 18:45 to 07:15. The schedule guarantees 36 hours per week with call requirements as needed.
Job Description
This position is for a Registered Nurse in an 8-bed Intensive Care Unit. The RN will be responsible for providing critical care to patients over 18 years of age. The unit utilizes Meditech for documentation, and the nurse will work with IV pumps and ventilators.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Facilitate communication with medical teams and families.
- Document care and patient data accurately in the EHR.
- Support the interdisciplinary team in patient management.
- Float to other units as necessary based on patient needs.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of ICU experience is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- ACLS certification is required.
- BLS certification is required.
