Job Description

As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing essential nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit. This includes coordinating patient care, administering medications, and conducting assessments while ensuring high standards of patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient care and update health records accurately.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of experience that includes nursing in a medical-surgical setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license.
• NIHSS certification.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
