ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Inpatient Rehabilitation (Day Shift) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Day Shift, 3 days a week, 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will maintain the delivery of quality patient care by ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan. The RN will supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, utilizing the data to create individualized care plans.
• Identify patient/family education needs and set goals accordingly.
• Participate in initial and re-evaluation team conferences to discuss patient progress.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.
• Contribute to the patient rehabilitation program by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Initiate discharge planning and education from the date of admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to care providers for continuity of care.
• Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel while delegating tasks appropriately.
• Maintain a safe work and patient environment in accordance with hospital policies.
• Engage in team-building activities to foster a positive workplace.

Required Experience

• BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
• ACLS Certification required prior to the first shift (CIRH Only).
• Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience highly desired.

Certifications/Licensure

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
