Job Description

Join the team at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena and experience the beauty of Northern Michigan. This role as a Speech-Language Pathologist will involve working primarily in Inpatient Rehabilitation settings, with expectations to float to acute care as needed. The facility boasts a collaborative environment and supports various rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language evaluations and treatments for patients in the inpatient rehabilitation unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Assist in shaping patients' communication capabilities and swallowing functions.

Required Experience

• Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation preferred.
• Previous travel assignment experience in this setting is ideal.

Certifications/Licensure

• MBSS experience required.
