Schedule/Shift
Weekend shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday, with an additional shift on Monday from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide quality nursing care in the Operating Room through the application of the nursing process. This role involves collaboration with other healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing practice standards, adhering to medical center policies and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive nursing care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high standards of care.
- Adhere to compliance standards according to medical center policies.
- Identify and assess patient needs prior to and following surgical procedures.
- Manage intraoperative nursing care and monitor patient safety and health.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience.
- Experience in Circulating within the Operating Room.
- Proficient in Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro surgical procedures.
- Current Michigan nursing license.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS Certification (AHA).
- Michigan nursing license verification required; include LARA and Nursys documentation.
