Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00, guaranteed 36 hours per week with every other weekend commitment.

Job Description

Join Fauquier Health, a dynamic 97-bed acute care facility, as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. As an integral part of a well-equipped team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients across the entire age spectrum, utilizing advanced resources including a robust medical imaging department and robotic-assisted surgical services.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency nursing duties including phlebotomy, IV placement, EKG, splinting, wound care, and patient transport.
• Provide patient-centered care, focusing on positive experiences for patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient management.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
