Job Description
The Emergency Department at HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse. The unit has 19 beds and a team of 26 full-time equivalent staff. The ideal candidate will be proficient in emergency care, with a focus on providing excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Administer tPA and monitor patients receiving it.
- Provide care for STEMI patients and manage CPR situations.
- Perform laceration repairs and orthopedic care.
- Ensure accurate and concise documentation in Meditech EMR.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and TNCC certifications are required.
