ARMStaffing is looking for a Physical Therapist, Home Health (Day Shift) in Silver Spring, Maryland.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires a schedule of 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday, with daily hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide adult health care in a home health setting, focusing on delivering high-quality care to geriatric patients. The role involves performing approximately 6 patient visits per day, utilizing your expertise in various specialty areas including cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, and orthopedics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Document patient care and progress using Community Hospital's charting system.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams including social services and interpretation services.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting is required.
• Two supervisory references are required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Physical Therapy state license in Maryland or a compact state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
