ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Day Shift) in Rockport, Maine.

Schedule/Shift

Full-time positions available: 3.3 FTEs for days (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) and 4.5 FTEs for nights.

Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care for a diverse patient population, focusing on medical-surgical diagnoses like CHF, COPD, and pneumonia, alongside orthopedic, general surgery, and urology cases. The unit has 45 beds with patient ratios of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. Our facility employs advanced medical technologies such as Plum pumps, pyxis, Ascom phones, bladder scanners, EKG machines, and Phillips cardiac monitors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and required documentation.
• Assist in the admission of pediatric patients, utilizing PALS certification as necessary.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Travel experience is a plus.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS certification preferred.
