Job Description
The Registered Nurse in Telemetry will provide critical care to patients requiring constant monitoring. This role involves using telemetry equipment to observe patients' heart rhythms, assists in managing acute care conditions, and ensures prompt intervention when symptoms vary. This position is pivotal to patient safety and quality care delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
- Document patient information and care provided accurately.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
Required Experience
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a telemetry or critical care setting.
Certifications/Licensure
Current RN license in the state of Florida. BLS and ACLS certifications required.
