ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, House Supervisor (Night Shift) in Newark, New Jersey.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend coverage is mandatory, and candidates must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse, House Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing patient care and managing the nursing staff on the unit. This position involves ensuring that patient placement is efficiently managed and may require experience in bed planning. The candidate will work in a community hospital setting with an average daily census of 380 patients in a 600-bed facility, using Epic for charting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care.
• Manage patient placement and bed planning effectively.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
• Utilize Epic for patient documentation and charting.
• Support interdisciplinary collaboration to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Emergency Room or Critical Care settings is required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Experience with bed planning and patient placement is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active New Jersey RN license or compact license is required.
