ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, House Supervisor (Day Shift) in Newark, New Jersey.

Schedule/Shift

Day shift with three 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. Candidate must be available to work every other weekend and 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays as per unit requirements.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the House Supervisor role will oversee patient placement and bed planning in a community hospital setting. This 600-bed facility has an average daily census of 380 patients and provides care to diverse patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Proficiency with Epic charting is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and oversee patient care delivery.
• Manage bed planning and patient placement effectively.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and guidelines.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for documentation and patient management.

Required Experience

• Minimum of three years of experience in Emergency Room or Critical Care settings.
• Previous charge experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey or a compact state license required.
