ARMStaffing is looking for a Surgical Technologist, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Derry, New Hampshire.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Night Shift on call: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Monday - Friday). Every 5-6 weekends required, along with one call night per week.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will join a dynamic team in a well-established surgical unit. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment and providing support for robotic, orthopedic, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), gynecological (GYN), general, bariatric, and podiatry procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining sterile conditions, assisting with procedures, and ensuring that all surgical instruments are ready for use.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team during procedures, maintaining aseptic technique.
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies.
• Provide support during robotic and various surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Participate in maintaining a clean and orderly surgical environment.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in the operating room.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active New Hampshire State License at the time of submission.
• BLS certification required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
