Night shift, 6 PM to 6 AM.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical 2S Stroke Unit, you will provide high-quality care to stroke patients. You will work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the stroke unit.
• Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy.
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Medical Surgical setting required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Florida state or multi-state nursing license.
• BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
