ARMStaffing is looking for a Certified First Assist, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Naples, Florida.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Shifts are scheduled during the day from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM and/or from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with call requirements rotating with current staff to cover 4-5 weekday evening/nights and 2-4 weekend shifts over a 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The Certified First Assist will support surgical teams in the Operating Room, assisting in various surgical procedures, including robotics. The role may require floating between campuses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons in the operating room with surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field throughout the surgery.
• Participate in surgical team briefings and debriefings.
• Monitor patient status during the procedure and ensure proper documentation.

Required Experience

• Certification as First Assist or Certified Surgical Assistant.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is preferred.
• Robotics experience is required.
• Current RN with First Assist certification is also acceptable.

Certifications/Licensure

• Certified First Assistant or Certified Surgical Assistant certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
