Days - 4 10s, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with on-call requirements and rotating weekends.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing the operating room, setting up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions, and managing the sterile field during surgery. The role includes passing instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon, while also performing counts of sponges and materials to prevent foreign retained objects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgery.
• Set up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions.
• Manage the sterile field and surgical equipment during procedures.
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon.
• Perform counts of sponges and supplies to ensure patient safety.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Certifications / Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or American Red Cross).
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) following completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program.
• Experience with robotics preferred.
