This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Day shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM). Candidates may choose to work either 36 or 48 hours per week.
Job Description
The position entails working as a Telemetry RN in the Cross Campus Float Pool, which covers both Med Surg and Tele units, including PCU responsibilities, at both Walnut Creek and Concord locations. Candidates are expected to manage telemetry patients and possess skills in cardiac catheterization pre- and post-procedure care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage telemetry patients across various units including Med Surg and Tele.
- Provide pre- and post-catheterization care for cardiac procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience
- Current California RN license.
- 2+ years of recent Telemetry experience.
- Strong telemetry skills with cardiac catheterization experience.
- Prior travel nurse experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
