Job Description

The Medical/Surgical Nursing Manager is responsible for supervising patient care, nursing staff, and Medical/Surgical operations. This role requires collaboration with the Leadership team to enhance clinical operations, facilitate staff development, manage resources effectively, and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and patient care to ensure high-quality services.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to optimize clinical operations.
• Facilitate staff development through training and mentoring programs.
• Manage nursing resources and ensure effective utilization.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives for the Medical/Surgical unit.

Required Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in nursing and management experience in a Medical/Surgical setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required.
