12-hour shifts from 1830 to 0700, 36 hours per week with the ability to pick up extra shifts.
Job Description
This role is in a fast-paced Emergency Department, providing comprehensive care to patients in critical situations. Registered Nurses will be responsible for assessing patient needs, collaborating with healthcare team members, and delivering timely medical interventions. Familiarity with Meditech is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Department.
- Conduct thorough assessments and implement care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage critical situations and perform necessary interventions.
- Document patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
Required Experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Washington State or a Multi-state license.
- Completion of approved 6-hour suicide training.
- Experience in an Emergency Department setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
