Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, as well as maintaining accurate documentation while adhering to established standards and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' conditions and needs.
- Provide emergency care and treatment to patients in the emergency department.
- Work collaboratively with the medical team to determine treatment plans.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs.
Required Experience
- Current WA State Registered Nurse License.
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in emergency nursing preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- WA State Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association ACLS Card.
- NIHSS certification.
- PALS certification.
- TNCC certification.
- ENPC certification.
