ARMStaffing is looking for a Cardiovascular Technologist, Cardiac Cath Lab (Day Shift) in Ocala, Florida.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires 4 shifts per week, with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and includes approximately 10-12 nights of call, which encompasses one weekend per month.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Technologist will be an integral part of the Cardiac Cath Lab team, focusing on interventional procedures and patient care. The role involves working in a dynamic environment where you'll collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, including both diagnostic and interventional interventions.
• Prepare and maintain equipment required for procedures.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and provide post-procedure care.
• Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
• Respond to emergency situations effectively and timely.

Required Experience

• Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or interventional radiology setting is required.
• Proven ability to operate cardiac monitoring and catheterization equipment effectively.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid CPR certification.
• State licensure as required.
