Cath Lab Technologist - Travel Position

Schedule

6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, weekdays with call on various days. Call includes three 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a travel position. The technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, handling diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures. The candidate is expected to have extensive experience in the Cath Lab and be proficient in using advanced equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform right and left heart catheterizations, both diagnostic and intervention.
• Conduct peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures.
• Utilize GE lab technology, Impella, Balloon pump, Penumbra, and IVUS effectively.
• Document procedures using Merge Hemo documentation system.
• Participate in rotating call schedule and potentially cover nearby hospital.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Current RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.
• Experience with electrophysiology (EP) preferred.
