ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry (Night Shift) in Newport, Vermont.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position includes night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend rotation.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry unit, you will provide high-quality care to patients with diverse medical needs. This critical access hospital setting requires the ability to work independently and perform charge nurse duties when necessary. You will also be required to float to other units, including the Emergency Department and Maternity Care, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and make necessary assessments.
• Perform charge nurse duties as required.
• Document patients' progress in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.

Required Experience

A minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience is required for this position.

Certifications/Licensure

Current RN license in the state of Vermont is required.
