Schedule/Shift

3x12 Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Every other weekend is required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a 26-bed MS/Tele unit specializing in the care of patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, and post MI, as well as cardiac pharmacological interventions. Candidates will provide cardiac monitoring and emergency responses, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. The unit also requires IV therapy, phlebotomy, and respiratory management. Experience with Epic charting is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with complex medical conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and perform IV therapy.
• Maintain patient safety and implement isolation precautions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Must have experience in MS/Tele or similar settings.
• First-time travelers are accepted, but candidates must float as needed.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current New York State RN license required.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications must be valid and included in submittal.
