This role requires a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with possible weekend coverage according to department rotation. No call is required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Emergency Department, handling a wide range of patient needs in a fast-paced environment. The role requires proficiency in using the Epic electronic health record system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and documentation of patient status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• CPI and NIHSS certifications.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• CPI certificate required.
• NIHSS certificate required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
