Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed 9 PM - 7 AM; 40 total hours with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence while performing various tasks related to CT imaging. Responsibilities include obtaining necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies, maintaining sterility of the field and instruments, and preparing requisitions. The technologist will ensure effective communication with patients and families to alleviate anxiety while safeguarding patient privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification according to AHS policy.
• Observe and report any change in patient condition before and after contrast injections.
• Ensure availability of medical records, previous reports, lab results, and patient history.
• Assist in maintaining adequate linen, contrast media, and biopsy/drainage supplies in each scanning room.
• Participate in daily inventory and stocking of supplies.
• Notify Lead of expired or soon to expire equipment or medications.
• Maintain cleanliness of the CT gantry, table, and peripheral equipment after each use.
• Communicate with departments regarding patient status and coordinate patient transport post-procedure.
• Recognize and report unusual conditions in the operation of equipment.

Required Experience

A minimum of two years of experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.

Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification required.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
