Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to deliver accurate radiation therapy treatments. The ideal candidate will operate treatment units under minimal supervision and maintain excellent communication with patients throughout the treatment process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned courses of radiation therapy, ensuring accurate operation of treatment units.
• Maintain visual and audible communication with patients during treatment.
• Perform daily and monthly QA on linac and CT equipment.
• Accurately CT/simulate patients and construct immobilization devices as needed.
• Execute IGRT, SBRT treatment, and portal imaging accurately.
• Train staff in CT/simulation protocols and ensure forms are ready for physician review.
• Manage MOSAIQ for daily treatment, treatment calendars, schedules, and prescription verification.
• Adhere to department policies, safety standards, and emergency procedures.
• Operate CT on rails for IGRT delivery and maintain records of all treatment sessions.

Required Experience

Strongly preferred experience with IMRT, 3D, SRS, SBRT, CBCT, and Align RT.

Certifications / Licensure

ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy is required.
