Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse in the ICU specialty for a challenging role. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in ICU/CCU, with the ability to float to DOU, Tele, or Med Tele as required. The role includes a mandatory requirement to work every other weekend and be available for holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced EKG monitoring and interpretation.
• Manage patients with multi-system organ failure, including administering emergency medications and procedures.
• Conduct phlebotomy and manage IVs, arterial lines, and central lines.
• Administer blood products and manage ventilated patients.
• Assist with chest tube insertion and removal, and with BIPAP/CPAP management.
• Implement safety protocols, including infection prevention and isolation precautions.
• Evaluate and interpret ABGs, and perform 12 lead EKGs.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU or CCU setting.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Certifications / Licensure

• Valid California RN license required at the time of submission.
• Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, CPI, MAB, NIHSS.
