Job Description

We are seeking a Travel Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a 44-bed inpatient psychiatric facility, working with adolescents (ages 14-17) and geriatric populations. The role involves management of clinical activities on assigned units and requires experience in inpatient adolescent psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the delivery of care by nursing staff.
• Coordinate orientation and educational needs of staff.
• Maintain good working relationships with other disciplines.
• Monitor staffing and scheduling on the assigned unit(s).
• Represent the Nursing Department positively in the community.

Required Experience

• Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatric experience.
• Prior experience in a behavioral health setting is essential.

Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification is required.
• De-escalation training/certification is required; SAFE Training Course available onsite.
