Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No weekend requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and develop treatment plans for assigned patients in an acute care or long-term acute care hospital setting. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, provide patient education, and uphold the organization’s commitment to patient and employee safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to address barriers to discharge and ensure the implementation of the plan of care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in a clear and timely manner.
• Provide supervision and guidance to students and support their educational development.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in acute care or long-term acute care (LTACH) settings is encouraged.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
