Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Children's ER will provide optimal patient care using their nursing expertise within the context of the nursing process. The incumbent is responsible for individualized patient outcomes throughout the care process and offers comprehensive nursing services to pediatric patients and their families through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality, compassionate patient and family interaction and care.
• Perform pediatric resuscitation and care for critically ill children.
• Document patient interactions accurately and comprehensively.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Participate in maintaining a safe and effective patient care environment.

Required Experience

• Two years of experience in a Pediatric ER.

Certifications / Licensure

• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications.
