Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the nursing process. This role is accountable for individualized patient outcomes across the care episode, providing comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families or caregivers. The RN is responsible for diagnosing and treating human responses to health problems, as well as coordinating care among other professionals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on documented standards.
• Engage in quality, compassionate interaction with patients and their families.
• Maintain excellent documentation and care standards.
• Float to different areas within the organization as needed, up to competency levels.
• Be available to pick up one additional shift during the scheduled period.
• Provide care while adhering to standards of quality specific to the diverse patient population.

Required Experience

• Two years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Prior travel experience is required.

Certifications / Licensure

• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC.
