Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with cardiac tele experience to deliver high-quality care focusing on cardiac patients, particularly those with congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, and arrhythmias. The role also involves addressing respiratory issues, including COPD and pneumonia.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patients with heart and respiratory conditions.
- Administer medications and blood products as prescribed.
- Utilize patient telemetry to assess and respond to changes in patient status.
- Perform EKGs and interpret results to guide treatment.
- Provide pre/post cardiac catheterization and hemodialysis care.
- Manage invasive lines and conduct isolation procedures as needed.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac telemetry nursing.
- Experience managing patients with heart failure and respiratory failure.
Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license required upon submission.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
