This position requires a rotating 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM or a day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM, totaling 36 hours per week. One weekend shift is required each contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend, along with at least one holiday per contract.
Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Observation unit. This 13-bed unit is dedicated to 24-hour observation care and may assist with Emergency Department boarder patients awaiting admission.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a relevant nursing position is required, along with 2 years of U.S. work history for non-U.S. candidates.
Certifications / Licensure
- Active New York RN license
- NIH certified
- AHA BLS and PALS certifications
