Schedule

Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM and alternating day shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care, be well-versed in handling varied emergency diagnoses and have the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment for adult patients.
• Perform critical assessments and triage patients based on severity of conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as per standard operating procedures.
• Manage emergency situations and stabilize patients as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in EPIC charting system.
• Experience in managing severe trauma, cardiac conditions, and stroke cases.
