Per Diem Crit Care/ICU RN needed for night shift; weekends only. A total of 6 shifts are required per 6-week schedule period (Saturday and Sunday).
Job Description
The Per Diem RN Critical Care/ICU role is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in critical condition. This position requires expertise in complex patient management and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU settings.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs.
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of critical care acute care experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital.
- Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), EVD (External Ventricular Drain), and Swan-Ganz catheterization.
Certifications / Licensure
- Active New Jersey RN license is required.
