Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in a fast-paced medical-surgical and telemetry unit. The RN will ensure effective communication with patients and team members while managing a variety of diagnoses. Responsibilities include starting IVs, placing NG tubes, inserting foley catheters, and caring for patients requiring continuous bladder irrigation.

Responsibilities

• Start IVs and manage IV therapy
• Place NG tubes and insert foley catheters
• Provide care for patients needing continuous bladder irrigation
• Maintain effective communication with the healthcare team and patients

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Indiana
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
