Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Emergency Department to join our team. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including neonates, adolescents, and adults.
- Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
- Perform phlebotomy and start IVs as needed.
- Administer blood products, emergency medications, and IV vasopressors.
- Conduct procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
- Utilize the Epic charting system for documentation.
- Float to other areas when census warrants.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- New York state RN license required in hand for submission.
