Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong clinical skills and the ability to handle complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess and monitor patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Administer medications, including emergency medications and IV vasopressors.
• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Perform phlebotomy and start IVs as required.
• Assist with procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:5.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York RN license.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required.
