Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a position in a Level I Emergency Department. The nurse will care for patients admitted and waiting in the Emergency Department for bed availability, either in a designated area or possibly the hallway. If there are no patients being boarded, the nurse may also be utilized in an acute care area, though this should be rare.
Responsibilities
- Caring for patients in the Emergency Department waiting for bed availability.
- Monitoring patient conditions and providing necessary interventions.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Acute Care or Medical Surgical Telemetry.
- Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current TN RN license or compact equivalent required.
- ACLS certification required.
