Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a crucial role in a Magnet facility. The candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This position requires a strong clinical background along with the ability to adapt to various patient needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist with surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Monitor patient vitals pre, during, and post-operation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team and provide support as needed.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current AK RN license (required for auto offer).
- BLS certification (required).
- ACLS certification (preferred).
- CNOR certification (preferred).
