Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) to provide high-quality care to patients with complex needs, including conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy. The RN will be responsible for managing heparin drips and maintaining a patient ratio of 1 to 4.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the IMCU.
• Monitor and manage patients' conditions, including medication administration and heparin drip management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar nursing role.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Active Registered Nurse licensure.
