Registered Nurse - Neuro Specialty

Schedule

This position requires a day shift schedule of 12 hours, working 3 days a week, including weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Neuro to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and have the necessary certifications and experience to provide high-quality care to neuro patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to neuro patients.
• Utilize NIHSS for assessments and treatment planning.
• Work with step-down patients and ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC software.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro nursing.
• Current RN license and verification through Nursys.
• NIHSS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is necessary.
• Experience with EPIC software is mandatory.
