Registered Nurse - Medical Step Down Unit

Schedule

Day shift, 12-hour shifts (4 days on, 4 days off).

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical Step Down Unit. The unit consists of 16-20 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. The RN will provide care for patients with various conditions including but not limited to:

• Sepsis
• Heart Failure
• Hypertensive Emergency
• Respiratory Failure
• COPD
• Chronic Kidney Disease
• Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
• Substance Abuse
• Status Epilepticus
• Encephalopathy

Responsibilities

The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification.
• Active RN license.
