Job Description

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for effectively screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. You will develop appropriate plans of care in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice standards.

• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary, documenting all actions per regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on patient evaluation.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans.
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy.
• Participate in required meetings and trainings.
• Supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists as necessary.
• Adhere to ASHA and state-required practice acts and code of conduct during professional practice.

Required Experience

• 1 year of SLP experience - Required
• LTC or Rehab experience - Required

Certifications / Licensure

• Oklahoma State License - Required
• CCC certified SLP - Required
