Certified Surgical Technologist - Operating Room

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, averaging 36 hours per week with weekend call coverage averaging 1 in 5 weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with a strong background in vascular (both open and endovascular cases) and plastics surgery (including DIEP flaps). The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team in providing optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures in the Operating Room.
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and supplies.
• Ensure a sterile field is maintained throughout operations.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Respond to the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
• Fulfill call obligations as needed to maintain surgical schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technology experience, with at least 1 year of travel experience.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
• Experience in Level 1 trauma settings and open vascular cases.
