3x12-hour shifts per week with guaranteed 36 hours.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during their hospital stay.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry patients and manage care for up to 6 patients at a time.
• Administer medications and interact with patients and their families to provide education and support.
• Collaborate with medical team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care using electronic health records (EHR) accurately and in a timely manner.
• Float to other units as needed, including Intermediate Care and Emergency Department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license and ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in telemetry.
• Experience with total joint patients and complex medical conditions is preferred.
