Registered Nurse - Day Shift - 13-Week Contract

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a demanding role with a reputable healthcare provider. This position requires a strong background in the specified specialty, combined with exceptional clinical skills and patient care capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Conduct assessments and document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Support and educate patients and their families about health conditions and preventive care.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• MUST have a current permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start.
• Proven experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Schedule

This is a day shift position covering 3 - 12 hour shifts from 07:00 - 19:30. Travelers are expected to work at least every other holiday.
